Galaxy Tab E 8.0 is a bit better than Microsoft Surface Pro, with a general score of 64.9 against 63.2. The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 is a newer device, and it's also noticeably lighter and notably thinner than Microsoft Surface Pro. The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, and Microsoft Surface Pro comes with Windows 8 Pro OS.

Microsoft Surface Pro features a little faster processor than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because although it has 2 lesser CPU cores , it also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory and a graphics co-processor. The Microsoft Surface Pro has a better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because it has a bit more pixels per inch in the display, a way higher resolution of 1080 x 1920 and a much larger screen.
