Comparison review

The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has an overall score of 65.1, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0's general score of 64.9. Despite being the best tablet device we are comparing, the Microsoft Surface Pro 2 construction is extremely older, extremely heavier and notably thicker than Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0. Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has Windows 8.1 Pro OS, and Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 works with Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.

Microsoft Surface Pro 2 counts with a bit better CPU than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because although it has a lower number of cores , it also counts with 6,5 GB more RAM. The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 features a more vivid display than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because it has a much larger screen, a little bit better screen pixel density and a much higher 1080 x 1920 resolution.

The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 shoots much clearer photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro 2. They have the same video frame rates and the same (HD) video resolution. Microsoft Surface Pro 2 counts with much more memory for applications and games than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory.

The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has a very superior battery performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 2.
