Comparison review

Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 is much better than the Galaxy Tab E 8.0, getting a global score of 78.2 against 64.9. Both devices in this review use Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 has an older 4.4 version while Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has Android 5.1 Lollipop. Even though the Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 is much older and noticeably heavier than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, it's construction is still thinner.

The Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 has a much sharper display than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because it has a higher pixels density, a way higher 1600 x 2560 resolution and a lot bigger screen. The Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 counts with a superior memory to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because although it has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 64 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with more internal memory.

Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 has a better performing processing unit than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, and although they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 also has more RAM memory and an additional graphics processing unit. The Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 features a superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because it has 9500mAh of battery capacity instead of 5000mAh.

The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 features just a bit better camera than Galaxy NotePRO 12.2, although it has a back-facing camera with a way worse 5 MP resolution and a lot worse 1280x720 (HD) video quality.
