Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has a global score of 64.9, which is a little bit better than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE's 62.5 global score. Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0's construction is noticeably lighter but a bit thicker than the Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE. Both of these tablets use Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has a more recent 5.1 Lollipop version while Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has Android 3.1, offering a lot of extra features and some performance improvements.

Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE features a little bit better looking display than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because although it has a just a little less pixels per inch of display, and they both have an equal resolution of 800 x 1280px, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE also counts with a larger display. The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 features a better storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 128 GB.

Galaxy Tab E 8.0 features just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because it has a higher number of cores and a greater amount of RAM. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has a superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because it has 6800mAh of battery capacity instead of 5000mAh.

The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has a very superior camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same video resolution, the Galaxy Tab E 8.0 also has a much higher 5 mega pixels resolution back facing camera.
