Galaxy Tab E 8.0 is much better than the Galaxy Tab 10.1, getting a 64.9 score against 58.1. The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 construction is newer and incredibly lighter than Galaxy Tab 10.1's, although it's just a little thicker. Both of these devices come with Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has newer 5.1 Lollipop version while Galaxy Tab 10.1 has Android 4.0.4 version.

Galaxy Tab 10.1 counts with a little bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because although it has a bit lower display density, and they both have an equal 800 x 1280 resolution, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 also counts with a larger display. The Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 counts with a little faster processor than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has a greater number of cores.

Galaxy Tab E 8.0 counts with a greater memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because although it has only 16 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD extension slot that supports up to 128 GB. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 counts with a really longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because it has a 36% bigger battery size.
