Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is just a bit better than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, getting a 67.8 score against 64.9. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is an older and much heavier portable tablet than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, but Samsung was able to make it thinner anyway. Both of these devices come with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has the previous 4.4.2 version while Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has Android 5.1 Lollipop.

The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has a way better camera than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 1280x720 video quality, the Galaxy Tab E 8.0 also has a camera in the back with a lot higher resolution.
The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 features a much longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because it has 6800mAh of battery capacity.
