Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is just a bit better than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, getting a 67.8 score against 64.9. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is an older and much heavier portable tablet than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, but Samsung was able to make it thinner anyway. Both of these devices come with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has the previous 4.4.2 version while Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has Android 5.1 Lollipop.

The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 counts with a little better performance than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit and a 1,5 GB RAM memory, the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 also has a graphics co-processor. Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a bit better looking display than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because although it has a little bit worse pixel count per inch of display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 also counts with a bigger screen.

Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 counts with a little bit better storage for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 also has a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 128 GB. The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has a way better camera than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 1280x720 video quality, the Galaxy Tab E 8.0 also has a camera in the back with a lot higher resolution.

The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 features a much longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because it has 6800mAh of battery capacity.
