The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has an overall score of 64.9, which is a bit better than the Galaxy Tab E's 60.7 score. Even though the Galaxy Tab E 8.0 and the Galaxy Tab E were released with only 8 months difference, the Galaxy Tab E 8.0 body is a little thicker but a lot lighter. Both of these devices come with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has a more recent 5.1 Lollipop version and Galaxy Tab E has Android 4.4, so it provides you a lot of extra features.
Samsung Galaxy Tab E features just a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0. Both have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount. The Galaxy Tab E has a battery life that is just as good as the Galaxy Tab E 8.0 one.
