Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has an overall score of 64.9, which is a bit better than the Galaxy Tab E's 60.7 score. Even though the Galaxy Tab E 8.0 and the Galaxy Tab E were released with only 8 months difference, the Galaxy Tab E 8.0 body is a little thicker but a lot lighter. Both of these devices come with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has a more recent 5.1 Lollipop version and Galaxy Tab E has Android 4.4, so it provides you a lot of extra features.

Samsung Galaxy Tab E features just a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0. Both have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount. The Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab E, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, the Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 also counts with a just a bit better pixels amount per inch in the display.

Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 takes much better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab E. They have the same video frame rate, a 5 mega-pixels back camera and the same 1280x720 (HD) video quality. The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 features more storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab E, and although they both have a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB, the Galaxy Tab E 8.0 also has 8 GB more internal memory.

The Galaxy Tab E has a battery life that is just as good as the Galaxy Tab E 8.0 one.
