Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 is much better than the Sony Tablet S, getting a overall score of 64.9 against 57.5. Galaxy Tab E 8.0's construction is notably newer, notably lighter and somewhat thinner than the Sony Tablet S. These tablets come with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has a more recent 5.1 Lollipop version and Sony Tablet S has Android 4.0 version.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 features a little bit better performance than Sony Tablet S, because it has more RAM and more processing cores. The Sony Tablet S features just a bit better display than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because although it has a little bit worse screen density, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, the Sony Tablet S also counts with a larger screen.

Galaxy Tab E 8.0 features a superior camera than Sony Tablet S. Both of them have the same 30 fps video frame rates, the same 1280x720 (HD) video quality and a same resolution back camera.
