The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 has an overall score of 65.7, which is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0's 64.9 score. Xiaomi Mi Pad 2's design is incredibly thinner and somewhat lighter than the Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0, even when both were released only a couple of months apart. Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 has Android operating system, and Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 works with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.

The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 counts with a better looking screen than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a lot greater display density and a much better resolution of 1536 x 2048px. The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 features a better storage for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory.

The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 features just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 also has a greater amount of RAM. Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 features superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because it has a 6190mAh battery capacity.

The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 features a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, although it has a much lower 5 mega-pixels resolution back camera, a tinier camera aperture which is not so good for low light images and videos and a lot worse video resolution.
