Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a score of 67.9, which is much better than the Galaxy Tab E's 60.7 score. These tablets work with the same Android 4.4 OS (operating system), so both of them should provide you the same OS features. Even though Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 and Galaxy Tab E were released with only 8 months difference, Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is lighter and a little bit thinner.

The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a quite better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab E, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 also has a higher amount of RAM.
