Comparison review

The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has an overall score of 68.5, which is much better than the Galaxy Tab E's 60.7 score. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 construction is just a bit thinner and notably lighter than the Galaxy Tab E, even though it was released just a little over a year before. Both of these tablets have Android OS (Operating System), but the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has the previous 4.2.2 version while Galaxy Tab E has Android 4.4.

The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 features a faster CPU than Galaxy Tab E, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 also has an extra graphics processing unit and more RAM. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a much more vibrant screen than Galaxy Tab E, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a way better display density and a lot higher 1600 x 2560 pixels resolution.

Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a very superior storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab E, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory. The Galaxy Tab E features a much better battery lifetime than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9.

The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 captures a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab E, because it has a much more mega-pixels camera.
