Comparison review
Dell Venue 8 7840 has a global score of 61, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab E's overall score of 60.7. Both of these tablets come with the same Android 4.4 OS (operating system). Dell Venue 8 7840's design is notably lighter and much thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Tab E. The Dell Venue 8 7840 has an extremely better CPU than Galaxy Tab E, and although they both have 4 cores, the Dell Venue 8 7840 also has a higher amount of RAM memory, an extra graphics processing unit and a 64-bit CPU.
The Dell Venue 8 7840 has a much sharper display than Galaxy Tab E, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much better 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution and much more pixels per inch of display. Dell Venue 8 7840 has a lot bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab E, because it has 16 GB internal memory capacity and a SD card slot that allows up to 512 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab E has a really longer battery duration than Dell Venue 8 7840. Galaxy Tab E captures a bit better photos and videos than Dell Venue 8 7840, although it has a lot less mega pixels resolution camera in the back.
