Comparison review

The Microsoft Surface 2 has an overall score of 63.4, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab E's 60.7 overall score. Although it's the best tablet device in this comparison review, the Microsoft Surface 2 design is older, extremely heavier and a little bit thicker than Galaxy Tab E. Microsoft Surface 2 comes with Windows RT 8.1 OS, while Galaxy Tab E counts with Android 4.4 OS.

The Microsoft Surface 2 has a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy Tab E, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Microsoft Surface 2 also has more RAM. Microsoft Surface 2 has a brighter screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab E, because it has a greater pixels amount in each screen inch, a little bit bigger screen and a lot higher 1080 x 1920 resolution.

The Microsoft Surface 2 has a lot bigger storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab E, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity. Galaxy Tab E takes better photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface 2. They have the same video frame rate, a 5 mega pixels resolution back camera and the same 1280x720 video resolution.

Samsung Galaxy Tab E features a much better battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface 2.
