The Galaxy Tab E has a global score of 60.7, which is a bit better than Microsoft Surface RT's 58.4 score. Galaxy Tab E's design is extremely newer, notably lighter and somewhat thinner than Microsoft Surface RT. The Galaxy Tab E has Android 4.4 OS, and Microsoft Surface RT works with Windows RT OS.

The Microsoft Surface RT has just a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab E, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface RT also has more RAM and an extra GPU. The Microsoft Surface RT features a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab E, because although it has a just a bit lower amount of pixels per screen inch, it also counts with a little bit higher 768 x 1366px resolution and a bit larger display.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab E shoots much better photos and videos than Microsoft Surface RT, and although they both have the same 1280x720 video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy Tab E also has a way better 5 mega pixels resolution back camera. Microsoft Surface RT counts with a much better memory for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab E, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory.
