The GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has a general score of 77.4, which is much better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab E's 60.7 global score. The GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) is an older and a bit heavier tablet than Samsung Galaxy Tab E, but Samsung could make it a bit thinner anyway. Both tablets in our current comparison work with Android OS (operating system), but GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has newer 4.4.2 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab E has Android 4.4 version, so it provides some nice extra features and improved performance.
The GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) features a much sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab E, because it has a quite larger screen, a much better 1600 x 2560 resolution and a much greater pixel density. The GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) features a faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab E, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) also has more RAM memory and an additional graphics co-processor.
The Galaxy Tab E has a slightly better camera than GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition), although it has a much worse 1280x720 video definition and a back facing camera with lot less megapixels resolution. The GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) features a very superior memory capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Tab E, because although it has a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 64 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity.
The Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has a much better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab E, because it has a 64% more battery size.
