Both of these tablets have Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) has a newer 11 version and Galaxy Tab E has Android 4.4 version, offering lots of additional features and optimized performance. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) construction is much newer, a little lighter and just a bit thinner than the Galaxy Tab E.
