Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is way better than Galaxy Tab E, having a 74.5 score against 60.7. Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is an older tablet than the Galaxy Tab E, but it is noticeably thinner and noticeably lighter anyway. Both of these tablets come with Android OS, but Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a newer 4.4.2 version while Galaxy Tab E has Android 4.4, so it offers lots of additional features.

Galaxy Tab S 8.4 counts with an incredibly better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab E, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a lot more pixels per inch of screen and a lot higher resolution of 2560 x 1600px. Galaxy Tab S 8.4 counts with a very superior memory to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab E, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 128 GB, the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 also has 32 GB internal memory capacity.

The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a little bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab E, because it has a larger number of faster cores and more RAM. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 takes better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab E, because it has a much higher (Full HD) video quality and a lot higher resolution camera.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab E has a bit superior battery duration than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because it has a 5000mAh battery size instead of 4900mAh.
