Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Tab E is a little bit better than Xperia Tablet S, having a general score of 60.7 against 58.9. Both tablets in this review work with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab E has a more recent 4.4 version while Xperia Tablet S has Android 4.1.1, giving you lots of additional features and some performance improvements. Samsung Galaxy Tab E's construction is much newer, somewhat lighter and way thinner than Xperia Tablet S.

Sony Xperia Tablet S features a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab E, because although it has less RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia Tablet S also counts with a graphics co-processor. Xperia Tablet S features a little bit better looking display than Galaxy Tab E, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 800 x 1280px, the Xperia Tablet S also counts with a quite greater pixels amount in each display inch.

The Sony Xperia Tablet S has a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab E, and although they both have a SD extension slot that allows up to 128 GB, the Sony Xperia Tablet S also has 56 GB more internal memory. Galaxy Tab E features a very superior battery life than Sony Xperia Tablet S.

The Galaxy Tab E takes much better videos and photos than Xperia Tablet S, although it has a way less mega-pixels back facing camera.
