Even though Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet is older than Galaxy Tab E, it's construction is somewhat lighter and notably thinner. Both of these devices have Android OS (Operating System), but Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet has a more recent 4.4.4 version and Galaxy Tab E has Android 4.4.
