The Galaxy Tab A (2016) is slightly better than Galaxy Tab P8, getting a general score of 60.4 against 55.5. Samsung Galaxy Tab P8 features a little sharper screen than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has a little bit lower pixels amount per display inch, and they both have exactly the same 800 x 1280 pixels resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Tab P8 also counts with a larger screen.

The Galaxy Tab A (2016) has just a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab P8, because it has a greater number of cores. Galaxy Tab A (2016) takes much clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab P8, and although they both have the same 1280x720 video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy Tab A (2016) also has a camera in the back with way more MP.

Galaxy Tab P8 counts with a much greater memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity. The Galaxy Tab P8 has a really longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
