Comparison review
Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is much better than Acer Predator 8, getting a 74.6 score against 57.7. The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is an older and way heavier tablet device than Acer Predator 8, but Samsung was able to make it somewhat thinner anyway. Both devices we are comparing here have Android OS, but Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has older 4.4 version while Acer Predator 8 has Android 5.1 Lollipop.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Acer Predator 8, and although they both have 2 GB of RAM and 4 CPU cores, the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also has an extra graphics processor. Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a much better looking screen than Acer Predator 8, because it has a bit better display pixels density, a larger display and a higher 1600 x 2560px resolution.
The Acer Predator 8 features a bit bigger memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal memory, the Acer Predator 8 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 captures slightly better photographs and videos than Acer Predator 8, because it has a back camera with way more mega-pixels.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features a much longer battery lifetime than Acer Predator 8, because it has 8220mAh of battery capacity.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is a lot more expensive than Acer Predator 8, but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
