Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has an overall score of 74.6, which is a little bit better than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's overall score of 67.9. The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is an older and way heavier tablet than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, but Samsung managed to build it a little thinner anyway. Both of these devices include the same Android 4.4 OS (Operating System), so both of them should count with identical operating system features.

The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a bit better looking screen than Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have an equal resolution of 1600 x 2560px, the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 also counts with a just a little greater pixel density. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a little bit better memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 32 GB more internal memory capacity.
