Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a score of 74.6, which is a little bit better than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9's global score of 68.5. Both of these devices use Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has 4.4 version and Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has Android 4.2.2, so it provides a couple additional features and performance tweaks. Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1's design is somewhat heavier but just a bit thinner than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, and they were released only 3 months apart.
