Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a global score of 74.6, which is much better than LG G Pad 8.3's overall score of 65.9. The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 construction is thinner but notably heavier than LG G Pad 8.3, and they were only released with a couple of months difference. Both of these devices work with the same Android 4.4 OS (Operating System), so both of them should provide the user the same operating system features.
Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features a bit faster CPU than LG G Pad 8.3, and although they both have 2 GB of RAM memory and the same number of cores, the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also has a graphics processing unit. Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with a bit sharper screen than LG G Pad 8.3, because it has a bigger display, a higher resolution of 1600 x 2560 and a just a little higher number of pixels per inch in the display.
The LG G Pad 8.3 takes way better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, although it has a worse 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and a lot less mega pixels resolution back camera. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features much more memory capacity for applications and games than LG G Pad 8.3, and although they both have a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 64 GB, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also has more internal memory capacity.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features a really longer battery lifetime than LG G Pad 8.3, because it has a 79% bigger battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the LG G Pad 8.3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the LG G Pad 8.3. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the LG G Pad 8.3, letting go some features and specifications.
