Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a global score of 74.6, which is way better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1's 58.1 score. Both tablets in this review work with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has newer 4.4 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has Android 4.0.4, providing some nice extra features and performance optimizations. The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 body is much newer, somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has an extremely better CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has an extra graphics co-processor and a greater number of cores (and faster). The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features a much better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also has much more pixels per inch in the screen and a lot better resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels.
The Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 count with very similar cameras, although the Galaxy Tab 10.1 has a worse video resolution and a back facing camera with much less mega-pixels resolution. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features a very superior memory to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also has an external SD slot that admits up to 64 GB.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has superior battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has an 8220mAh battery capacity.
Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 costs more than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
