Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is a lot better than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), with a 74.6 score against 60.7. Both tablets in this comparison review use Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a newer 4.4 version while Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has Android 4.1 version, so it counts with some additional features. Although the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is much heavier than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), it's much thinner and also newer.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features a much faster processor than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a GPU, 2 more cores and 1 GB more RAM memory. The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a way greater count of pixels per screen inch, a way higher resolution of 1600 x 2560px and a way larger screen.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 shoots slightly better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a much higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and a back facing camera with way more mega pixels. Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a bit bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal memory, the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also has a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a superior battery performance than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has an 8220mAh battery size against 4000mAh.
Although Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0). So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), giving up a couple specs and features.
