Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, getting a 74.6 score against 68.7. These devices have Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has the newer 4.4 version and Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has Android 4.2.2, giving you some nice extra features. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is a extremely heavier portable tablet than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, but they are 0.29inches thick.
Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features a bit better CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because although it has a weaker graphics processor running at 450 MHz, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM and a higher number of cores. Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a much more vibrant display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has a lot higher resolution of 1600 x 2560px, a larger display and a way better screen density.
Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch features just a bit better camera than Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, although it has a lot worse video resolution and a camera in the back with a way worse 5 mega-pixels resolution. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch's storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos is just as good as the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 one, both have the same 32 GB internal storage and an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB.
Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features a way better battery duration than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because it has an 85 percent bigger battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, resigning a couple specifications.
