The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is better than the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, getting a overall score of 74.6 against 65.6. The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 design is somewhat thinner but way heavier than the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and both of them were only released with a couple months difference. Both tablets we compare here have Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has the older 4.4 version and Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has Android 4.4.2 version.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features a quite superior hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and although they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also has an extra graphics co-processor and a greater amount of RAM memory. Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features a brighter screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has a lot higher resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels, a greater quantity of pixels per inch of screen and a much larger display.
Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a superior storage for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 64 GB, the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also has 32 GB internal storage. Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 counts with a better camera than Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, although it has a back facing camera with way less megapixels and a much lower 1280x720 (HD) video resolution.
Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with a much longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, because it has a 106% larger battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, resigning some specs and features.
