The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is slightly better than the Galaxy Tab A 10.5, getting a global score of 74.6 against 74.5. Both of these devices include Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has older 4.4 version while Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has Android 9.0 Pie. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is an notably older device than Galaxy Tab A 10.5, but Samsung was able to build it lighter and a bit thinner.

Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with a way better looking screen than Galaxy Tab A 10.5, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a greater pixel density and a better resolution of 1600 x 2560px. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5, because although it has a lower number of cores and lesser RAM memory, it also counts with an extra GPU.

The Galaxy Tab A 10.5 features a way bigger storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Tab A 10.5 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 400 GB. The Galaxy Tab A 10.5 captures much better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1. Both have a same resolution back-facing camera, the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and the same video frame rate.

Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a bit superior battery duration than Galaxy Tab A 10.5, because it has 8220mAh of battery capacity.

Although Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is a better device, it is more expensive than Galaxy Tab A 10.5, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy Tab A 10.5. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Galaxy Tab A 10.5, letting go a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
