Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is much better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), with a 74.6 score against 60.4. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 construction is thinner than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), but it is notably heavier and was released many years before. Both of these devices come with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has 4.4 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) has Android 5.1 Lollipop.

The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with a greater hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also has a greater amount of RAM memory and an extra graphics co-processor. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with a lot better display than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has a lot bigger screen, a better pixel amount per inch of display and a way better 1600 x 2560 resolution.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features much more storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has a SD memory slot that holds up to 64 GB against 200 GB, it also counts with 32 GB internal memory capacity. The Galaxy Tab A (2016) captures slightly better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, although it has a lot lower 1280x720 video definition and a way lower 5 mega-pixels resolution back camera.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features a very superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has a 106% more battery size.

Although Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy Tab A (2016), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy Tab A (2016). So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, else you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy Tab A (2016), resigning some features and specifications.
