Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has an overall score of 74.6, which is a bit better than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020)'s global score of 74.6. Even though the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is better than the Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), it must be noted that it's also an extremely older, extremely heavier and a little thicker portable tablet. Both devices in this comparison review include Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has 4.4 version and Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie version.

The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because it has a little bit greater pixels density, a bigger screen and a better 1600 x 2560px resolution. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with a little faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because although it has an inferior number of cores (although they are faster) and lesser RAM memory, it also counts with an additional graphics co-processor.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) captures a lot better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1. Both have the same video frame rates, a back-facing camera with an 8 MP resolution and the same video resolution. The Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) counts with much more memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020) also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB.

The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with a really longer battery performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), because it has 8220mAh of battery capacity against 5000mAh.

Although Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020). So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4 (2020), giving up a couple features and specs.
