Galaxy Tab Active Pro is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, getting a 77.5 score against 74.6. Both tablets in this review come with Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab Active Pro has newer 9.0 Pie version and Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has Android 4.4 version, so it offers a couple additional features and better performance. Galaxy Tab Active Pro is a incredibly newer portable tablet than the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, but it's a lot heavier and incredibly thicker.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with a way better looking display than Galaxy Tab Active Pro, and although they both have a same size display, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also has a better resolution of 1600 x 2560 and a higher screen density. The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro, because although it has an inferior number of cores and a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics processing unit.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro has a much greater memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, because it has an external memory slot that holds up to 512 GB and 64 GB internal memory capacity. The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features just a little bit longer battery performance than Galaxy Tab Active Pro, because it has an 8 percent more battery capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro features a greater camera than Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, because it has a lot better 3840x2160 video definition and a back camera with lot more MP.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro is a better device, it costs more money than Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, giving up a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your budget.
