Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, having a 74.6 score against 74.3. Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is an a bit heavier and somewhat thicker tablet than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5. These tablets use Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has an older 4.4 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has Android 4.4.2.

The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a little sharper screen than Galaxy Tab S 10.5, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 1600 x 2560px, the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also counts with a quite better display density. Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, because although it has less processing cores and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an extra graphics processor.

Galaxy Tab S 10.5 captures much clearer videos and photos than Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1. Both have the same (Full HD) video definition, the same video frame rates and the same resolution back facing camera. The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 features a little bit better storage capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 also has a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 128 GB.

The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features a bit longer battery duration than Galaxy Tab S 10.5, because it has 8220mAh of battery capacity.

Although Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, resigning a couple specs and features.
