Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has an overall score of 74.6, which is a lot better than Sony Tablet S's 57.5 global score. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 body is notably newer, way thinner and way lighter than the Sony Tablet S. These tablets include Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has 4.4 version while Sony Tablet S has Android 4.0, so it provides the user a couple nice extra features and better performance.

Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features a much more vibrant screen than Sony Tablet S, because it has a little bigger display, a lot higher screen pixel density and a way higher 1600 x 2560 resolution. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has an extremely better CPU than Sony Tablet S, because it has an additional graphics processor, more RAM memory and more cores.

The Sony Tablet S features just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, although it has a back camera with much less mega pixels and a much worse (HD) video quality. Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with a little bit more memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Sony Tablet S, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal memory, the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also has a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB.
