Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a score of 74.6, which is much better than the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2's 65.7 overall score. Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with Android 4.4 OS, while Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 works with Android OS. Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is an older, just a bit thicker and a lot heavier device than Xiaomi Mi Pad 2.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features a sharper display than Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, because although it has a little lower screen density, it also counts with a larger display and a quite better 1600 x 2560 pixels resolution. The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 has just a bit more memory for games and applications than Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with a bit better processing unit than Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, and although they both have 4 CPU cores and 2 GB of RAM, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also has an additional graphics processing unit. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features improved battery duration than Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, because it has 8220mAh of battery capacity.
Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 takes much clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1. They have a 8 mega-pixels resolution camera, the same video frame rates and the same video resolution.
Although Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, giving up a couple features and specs.
