The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has a score of 78.5, which is much better than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's global score of 67.9. Both of these tablets use the same Android 4.4 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't perceive any difference regarding operating system features. Although it's the best device we compare here, Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2's body is older, a little bit thicker and way heavier than the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9.

Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 counts with a little better hardware performance than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, and although they both have 4 cores, the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 also has an additional graphics co-processor and a higher amount of RAM memory.
