The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has an overall score of 78.5, which is better than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9's general score of 68.5. Both of these tablets include Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has newer 4.4 version while Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has Android 4.2.2, giving you lots of additional features and performance enhancements. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 is a much heavier tablet device than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, but both are 0.31inches thick.
