The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has a general score of 78.5, which is much better than the LG G Pad 8.3's general score of 65.9. Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 and the LG G Pad 8.3 were released with only 4 months difference, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 body is a little thinner but also extremely heavier. Both tablets in this comparison review use the same Android 4.4 OS (Operating System), so both should give all the same OS features.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 and the LG G Pad 8.3 feature quite similar displays, because although the LG G Pad 8.3 has a much lower resolution of 1200 x 1920px and a lot smaller display, it also counts with a bit more pixels per inch in the screen. Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 features a little bit better performance than LG G Pad 8.3, and although they both have a Quad-Core processor, the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 also has a higher amount of RAM memory and an extra graphics processor.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 counts with a lot bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than LG G Pad 8.3, and although they both have a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 64 GB, the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 also has more internal storage. The LG G Pad 8.3 counts with a bit better camera than Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, although it has a worse 1920x1080 video resolution and a much worse resolution back-facing camera.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has a superior battery duration than LG G Pad 8.3, because it has a 9500mAh battery capacity against 4600mAh.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 costs more money than LG G Pad 8.3, but you can get a better tablet for that few more dollars.
