Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has a general score of 78.5, which is a lot better than Microsoft Surface 2's 63.4 overall score. Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2's body is a bit heavier but thinner than the Microsoft Surface 2, and both of them were released only a couple months apart. The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 works with Android 4.4 OS, while Microsoft Surface 2 works with Windows RT 8.1 OS.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 counts with a much better display than Microsoft Surface 2, because it has a better resolution of 1600 x 2560px, a larger display and a little bit more pixels per inch of screen. The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 counts with a much bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Microsoft Surface 2. They have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory capacity.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 features a little better performance than Microsoft Surface 2, and although they both have 4 processing cores, the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 also has 1 GB more RAM and a graphics processing unit.
