The Microsoft Surface Pro 6 is a bit better than the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, having a score of 81.5 against 78.5. The Microsoft Surface Pro 6 is a noticeably newer tablet than Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, but it is just a bit heavier and a bit thicker. The Microsoft Surface Pro 6 counts with Windows 10 operating system, while Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 works with Android 4.4 operating system.

The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 counts with a more vivid display than Microsoft Surface Pro 6, although it has a little worse resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels, a little bit worse pixels quantity in each inch in the screen and a little bit smaller display. Microsoft Surface Pro 6 counts with a much better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.

The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 features a little better processing power than Microsoft Surface Pro 6, because although it has 13 GB less RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 also counts with a graphics co-processor. The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 features a way better battery duration than Microsoft Surface Pro 6.

Although Microsoft Surface Pro 6 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Pro 6, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, letting go a couple specs and features.
