The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has a global score of 78.5, which is way better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016)'s global score of 60.4. Both tablets in our current comparison use Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has the older 4.4 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) has Android 5.1 Lollipop. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 construction is just a bit thinner than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), although it's a lot heavier and was released 2 years before.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 features an incredibly better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), because it has a much larger display, a just a little better pixels density and a much better resolution of 1600 x 2560. The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 counts with a much bigger memory for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports 136 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 counts with a superior processing unit than Galaxy Tab A (2016), and although they both have 4 processing cores, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 also has more RAM and an extra graphics co-processor.
