The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has a global score of 78.5, which is just a bit better than Galaxy Tab Active Pro's global score of 77.5. Despite of the fact the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 is much older and heavier than the Galaxy Tab Active Pro, it's construction is still notably thinner. Both devices in this comparison review come with Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has the older 4.4 version while Galaxy Tab Active Pro has Android 9.0 Pie version.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 features a bit better CPU than Galaxy Tab Active Pro, because although it has a lower number of cores (although faster) and lesser RAM, it also counts with a GPU. The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has a sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro, because it has a little bit greater pixels density, a better resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels and a larger screen.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro has a better camera than Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, because it has a lot more mega pixels back facing camera and a much better 3840x2160 video quality. The Galaxy Tab Active Pro features a much bigger memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory, the Galaxy Tab Active Pro also has an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 counts with greater battery duration than Galaxy Tab Active Pro, because it has a 25% more battery size.
In addition to being the best tablet of the ones in this comparison, Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 is also by far the cheapest, making it an obvious call.
