Comparison review

Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has a score of 78.5, which is better than Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact's overall score of 71.3. Although it's the best portable tablet in our current comparison, we must note that it's also somewhat thicker and way heavier. Both tablets in this review work with the same Android 4.4 OS (operating system).

Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact has a slightly better looking display than Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, because although it has a really smaller screen and a lot lower resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, it also counts with a just a bit higher pixel count per screen inch. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 features much more memory capacity to store more games and applications than Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, because although it has a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 64 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory.

The Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact counts with a bit faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2. Both of them have a Quad-Core CPU, a 450 MHz graphics co-processor and a 3 GB RAM memory. Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 captures slightly better photographs and videos than Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, although it has a camera with less MP and a worse (Full HD) video quality.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 features a very superior battery life than Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, because it has a 9500mAh battery capacity against 4500mAh.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 and the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact cost exactly the same, making this tablet a very good choice.
