The Galaxy Tab S3 has a global score of 75.2, which is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4's 74 score. Both of these devices have Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab S3 has newer 9.0 Pie version and Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has Android 4.4.2 version, so it provides the user some extra features and some performance improvements. The Galaxy Tab S3 design is much newer and thinner than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4's, but it is much heavier.
Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a much sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher amount of pixels per screen inch and a slightly better resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 features a much bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has 32 GB internal storage and an external memory card slot that admits up to 256 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with a little faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab S3, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also counts with an additional graphics processor. Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 features better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has a 25% more battery capacity.
The Galaxy Tab S3 shoots much clearer photos and videos than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has a camera with much more MP and a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
