Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is slightly better than Huawei MediaPad X2, having a global score of 73.1 against 72.7. Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is an older and way heavier tablet than the Huawei MediaPad X2, but Samsung was able to build it a little thinner anyway. These devices work with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has older 4.4.2 version and Huawei MediaPad X2 has Android 5.0.
The Huawei MediaPad X2 has a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, because although it has a way lower resolution of 1920 x 1200 and a way smaller display, it also counts with a little bit higher pixel count in each screen inch. Huawei MediaPad X2 features a bit better CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, and although they both have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount, the Huawei MediaPad X2 also has a 64-bit CPU.
The Huawei MediaPad X2 features a much bigger memory to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab S 10.5, and although they both have a SD memory slot that admits up to 128 GB, the Huawei MediaPad X2 also has 16 GB more internal memory capacity. Galaxy Tab S 10.5 takes a bit better pictures and videos than Huawei MediaPad X2, although it has a lot lower resolution back camera and a lower 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality.
Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has a much better battery lifetime than Huawei MediaPad X2, because it has a 7900mAh battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is a better device, it is a little more expensive than Huawei MediaPad X2, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Huawei MediaPad X2. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy Tab S 10.5, else you can save some dollars and get the Huawei MediaPad X2, resigning a couple features and specs.
