Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has an overall score of 74.3, which is a little bit better than the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's overall score of 67.9. Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5's body is thinner but heavier than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, and they were only released 4 months apart. Both tablets we compare here use Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has the newer 4.4.2 version while Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has Android 4.4 version.
