The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has a global score of 74.3, which is just a bit better than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9's score of 68.5. These tablets come with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has the newer 4.4.2 version while Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has Android 4.2.2, counting with a couple additional features. Even though Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 were only released with a couple months difference, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 construction is thinner but also heavier.
