The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has a global score of 74.3, which is way better than Asus MeMO Pad 8's 61.2 global score. Even though the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and the Asus MeMO Pad 8 were only released 0 months apart, Galaxy Tab S 10.5's design is thinner but also a lot heavier than the Asus MeMO Pad 8. Both devices in our current comparison use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has newer 4.4.2 version while Asus MeMO Pad 8 has Android 4.4, offering some nice extra features and performance improvements.

The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has a bit sharper screen than Asus MeMO Pad 8, because it has a better resolution of 1600 x 2560px, a quite better pixel density and a way larger screen. Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has a little bit more storage capacity to install applications and games than Asus MeMO Pad 8, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB.

Asus MeMO Pad 8 counts with a little faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, although it has lesser RAM memory and 4 less cores. The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 takes way better photos and videos than Asus MeMO Pad 8, because it has a much better 1920x1080 video quality and a back facing camera with much more mega pixels.

Galaxy Tab S 10.5 counts with a much longer battery life than Asus MeMO Pad 8.

Galaxy Tab S 10.5 costs a bit more money than the Asus MeMO Pad 8, but you can get a much better tablet for that few extra dollars.
