The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has a global score of 74.3, which is much better than the Asus ZenPad S 8.0's 62.2 overall score. Galaxy Tab S 10.5's design has the same thickness than the Asus ZenPad S 8.0, but it is a lot heavier. Galaxy Tab S 10.5 features a little sharper screen than Asus ZenPad S 8.0, because although it has a just a little lower display pixel density, it also counts with a lot larger screen and a bit higher resolution of 1600 x 2560.

Asus ZenPad S 8.0 has a little better processing power than Galaxy Tab S 10.5, because although it has an inferior number of cores (although faster), it also counts with more RAM. Asus ZenPad S 8.0 features a lot bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, and although they both have a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB, the Asus ZenPad S 8.0 also has 64 GB internal storage.

Galaxy Tab S 10.5 takes much clearer photographs and videos than Asus ZenPad S 8.0. Both have the same video resolution, the same video frame rate and a 8 MP resolution camera in the back. Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has a much longer battery lifetime than Asus ZenPad S 8.0.
