Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is a bit better than the Google Nexus 7 (2013), getting a overall score of 74.3 against 70.8. These devices work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has the previous 4.4.2 version while Google Nexus 7 (2013) has Android 5.0 version. Even though Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is incredibly heavier than Google Nexus 7 (2013), it's thinner and newer.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 features a way better battery performance than Google Nexus 7 (2013), because it has 7900mAh of battery capacity.
